This post natal class is focused on creating a space for you to start restoring your physical and emotional strengths while networking the with other mothers and their babies.
As a new mum, Pilates offers you excellent results. At a physical level, improves your posture, helps you reconnecting with your core and strengthens your pelvic and abdominal muscles. It also encourages mental well-being and it helps prevent potential postpartum blues.
For your baby, baby yoga exercises can help her/him limber up, sleep easier and relax. Babies are also calmed by the mothers' voice and the eye and touch contact with them.
Mothers can attend this class 6 weeks post vaginal birth and 10 weeks post C section after your GP check up and you can keep coming until your baby can crawl away from you. (*)

Why I love teaching this class?
I'm a Yoga & Pilates teacher with a genuine interest in women’s general wellbeing and I also hold a Prenatal certification plus I have recently completed the Pelvic Floor core and foundations with prestigious physiotherapist Michelle Lyons and pre and post natal SAFE exercise is a priority for me. As I’m a Certified Infant Massage instructor I also include some Baby Yoga Movements in some of the Mum & Babas classes so my job is never bored!
This is my 6th year teaching mums to be and mums and babies classes in Lusk and Skerries and I absolutely and truly (if you know me you know…) LOVE my job….and yes, the bless of my life…I’m the mum of two gorgeous boys (4,5) who makes me see the world upside down and inspire me every singe day.
