PRENATAL PILATES

The class is for women in their second or third trimester of pregnancy and it is tailored to meet the needs of expectant mothers. The practice  involves suitable Pilates exercises,  relaxation and breathing techniques. By  using different props, balls, cushions and blankets we improve comfort and create a space where you can tune and connect with your baby. No previous experience is necessary.


​Some benefits of practicing Pilates & Yoga  during pregnancy

  • Improves blood circulation
  • Decreases the risk of blood clots, varicose veins, leg cramping and swelling
  • Helps with weight management (in addition to a well balance diet)

  • Reduces the risk of abdominal separation late in Pregnancy
  • Prepares your body for post natal experience 

If you are in the final weeks of your pregnancy or have recently have your baby you will find Postnatal classes highly beneficial. Please check Mum & Baby postnatal Pilates or Back Care Yogalates to find out more or book a class. You can start as soon as you have your GP clear for exercise.

Classes can be cancelled/rescheduled if a notice of 6 hours is given
Class confirmations are sent via email/text. A link to cancel/reschedule is included on the email/text
