BACK CARE PILATES-YOGA BLEND (Yogalates)

The class is a blend of Yoga and Pilates poses that strengthen core muscles yet keeping the spine flexible. It will be an alternative to standard classes that will offer safe modifications and tailored made exercises focusing on back care and stress release. During the session will be using different props such as bricks, blocks, blankets, belts and bolsters. There will be a time for final stretches and a guided relaxation.
This class is also suitable for 'Postnatal' women wishing to come back to shape paying special attention to lower back, pelvic floor and stretching of upper limbs that may become stiff from carrying the baby.

We work on:
- Pelvic floor muscles and pelvis stability
- Core strengthening
- Breathing and movement
- Shoulder, back and neck gentle exercises to release tension and increase circulation
- Final stretches and guided relaxation
